Empowering Sustainable Futures: The Professor Robert D. Pearce Prize
Promoting innovation in the field of sustainable development, the Professor Robert D. Pearce Prize celebrates the legacy of a world-renowned scholar who inspired and supported many at Henley and beyond. Launched early in 2023 and seeded by a close friend of Bob, as Professor Pearce was affectionately known, the prize recognises outstanding student work within the field, celebrating contemporary ideas and contributions that chart a course towards a more sustainable future.
Sam Cotten and Natasha Wale were recognised at graduation in December last year as the first recipients of the prize. We hope their acknowledgement will inspire others to follow in their footsteps, and we eagerly anticipate making many more awards in the future.
The advancement of sustainable development is made possible thanks to the collective generosity of our community. It is this spirit of collaboration that ensures the continual progression and enduring impact of this important field on business, policy, and society for the generations to come. As we look ahead, the Prize fund remains open to further gifts and donations. Whether large or small, your contribution plays an indispensable role in propelling forward initiatives that shape a brighter, more sustainable future. If you share in our commitment to fostering sustainability and would like to be a part of this impactful movement, you can make a donation here.
