Clifton Agency tackling The Three Peaks in 24 hours for the John Miles Memorial Scholarship Fund

A group of colleagues of the late John Miles will participate in this challenge to support the scholarship named in his honour and to celebrate his life. The event is scheduled to take place at the end of July, coinciding with the second anniversary of John's tragic passing. It will involve climbing the three highest peaks in Scotland, England, and Wales, covering a total walking distance of 23 miles with a total ascent of 10,052ft.

John Miles, a distinguished graduate of the Real Estate & Planning Department at the University of Reading, completed his studies in Land Management as part of the class of 1989. He took considerable pride in his association with the University, which is renowned as one of the leading institutions in the field of real estate worldwide. Even after graduation, John maintained a close relationship with the University and RREF, actively engaging as a mentor and participating in industry knowledge events and Gala Dinners to support our work.

The John Miles Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in John’s memory by his former business partners Ben Simpson and Jim Remfry, in collaboration with RREF. This scholarship aims to celebrate excellence and reward outstanding students who enrol in an undergraduate degree program with the Department of Real Estate & Planning (REP) at Henley Business School, University of Reading. In addition to financial support, the scholarship recipient also has access to mentoring and internship opportunities at Clifton.
