Record number of applications received for the Pathways to Property Summer School
More young people than ever before applied to attend the annual Pathways to Property summer school taking place this summer between 25-28 July. A total of 494 applications were received for the 110 places available. The team have been busy across the year delivering talks and attending events in school and promoting the programme through various channels, which has helped raise awareness of the opportunity and may have contributed to this increase. All applications have been assessed against the Pathways to Property criteria, and places on the programme offered accordingly. Those young people who were not offered a place were instead invited to attend a Pathways to Property Webinar, which took place on 7th June.
Our thanks to volunteers from industry supporters, and our student ambassadors, who helped deliver this webinar, giving the attending young people an insight into the industry, what it is like to study a related course at university, and the various opportunities available. We are very much looking forward to the summer school, working closely with volunteers from a number of our supporters who will be directly working with the attending young people to help them develop their knowledge of careers and opportunities within the property industry.
