Alumni book publication - Tame the Change Noise®

Published on July 14, 2026

We thrilled to hear MBA and coaching Alum and mentor, Julie Burton has recently published a book - Tame the change noise.

Tame the change noise is self-directed framework for professionals in financial services and IT who’ve started to wonder what else their career could be. You don’t need a dramatic leap or a leap of faith, just the willingness to make small, intentional moves while the choice is still yours.

Julie shows readers how to take what they already have, assess it against their work disruptions and decide the urgency and impact of their next career move. It’s an invitation to take quiet, confident ownership of where you’re heading, to shape your career deliberately, on your own terms. You decide the amount of career change you need to make before sharing it with anyone else.

The book is now available to buy in paperback and Kindle - https://www.burtonkingexecutivecoaching.co.uk/ttcn

Julie is also offering a Tame The Change Noise Companion Worksheet which is a handy asset where you can capture your thoughts as you progress through the book. Find out more on this via the above link.

Author Bio -

I began my career in financial services, building expertise and professional qualifications while working full-time, before retraining as an Executive Coach and launching my own practice.

Having relocated internationally twice and adapted to new marketscultures and professional expectations, I now work alongside executives navigating real-world change, helping them apply what they already know, make sense of the present and move forward with clarity.

The reason for writing this book is to help you start learning before courage to change is needed. By making small incremental changes, we will stay further ahead of the curve than if we have to reset completely after each career disruption.
