RREF Bursaries and Scholarships Are Open!

Published on January 14, 2026

We are excited to announce that our undergraduate and postgraduate RREF bursaries are now open!

They are open to prospective students who have an offer to study a real estate degree at the University of Reading in the upcoming academic year who can demonstrate financial need which would make attending university difficult without support.

These bursaries are central to achieving RREF’s mission of removing financial barriers which prevent students from non-traditional backgrounds entering the real estate sector.

Alongside our RREF bursaries which are funded through donations to our Greatest Need Fund, we also have bursaries generously funded by companies and individuals.

These include the Richard Upton’s AreYou? Bursary, the Keith Elliott Bursary, the Landsec Bursary, the Aubrey Orchard-Lisle Charitable Trust Bursary, the Drivers Jonas 1725 Bursary, the George Fiennes Bursary, the John Miles Memorial Scholarship and the Barton Willmore Scholarship.

Thanks to the generosity of these donors, RREF can provide more financial aid than it would otherwise be able to, but there is still a large demand for more bursaries. In fact, last year we received 181 bursary and scholarship applications but were only able to offer 4.
