New Corporate Patron: Dominvs

We are delighted to announce that Dominvs Group, a leading property development and investment group, have signed up as our latest Corporate Patron.

Jean-Pierre Choulet, Executive Director of RREF, said: “I am delighted that Dominvs Group have shown their commitment to RREF by joining our growing list of Corporate Patrons. This support not only enables us to carry out our core activities but provides current students with a powerful connection to the industry, sharing insights that enhance their academic learning and developing their broader awareness and understanding of what’s happening in real estate today.

“It is incredibly important that our students are exposed to players from across the breadth of the industry, and as such, I am excited by the insight that Dominvs Group will bring.”

Jay Ahluwalia, Senior Director of Dominvs Group, said: “We are delighted to help support students so that they can go to university and get a full education. With many of us having benefitted as graduates from the university system, this is something we feel passionately about, and are keen to give back and help others to succeed in their chosen career path in the real estate industry.”

Evening Lectures

The Evening Lecture Series is in full-swing, and we have received positive feedback from attending industry and students. In response to COVID-19 restrictions we redesigned the events to incorporate a hybrid approach – offering students the chance to attend in person or view the live streamed event online. This hybrid approach has allowed a higher number of students to attend the lectures overall, and we have received praise for the use of the ‘OWL’ – a sophisticated piece of live streaming technology which has allowed us to deliver the lectures online. The OWL provides a 360 view of the room and follows the speakers when they move – simulating an ‘in person’ feel as much as possible. Many thanks to our Corporate Patrons who have taken part so far: Eastdil, Knight Frank and GIC. We look forward to the upcoming lectures for this term: Savills, Dominvs, Gerald Eve and Cushman & Wakefield.
