Opportunity for Henley Business School alumni to join the Reading Tech Cluster Reverse Pitch
Following on from a successful Investment Summit in July where 8 tech firms pitched to investors, the RTC is now organising a 'reverse pitch'. This time investors are on the stage. Hear them pitch. Learn about different investment stages and approaches. Get great tips to improve your investment plan and pitch. We welcome Henley alumni to join us in registering for the event.
Firms will cover their investment criteria and process, sector focus, and the metrics they look for. They'll explain how they differ from each other in stage, profile and needs. They'll even share tips for tech firms to be more successful when pitching for investment.
You'll hear from a cross section of leading angel, private equity, venture capital and corporate finance investors. Confirmed speakers are from YFM, Maven, FSE Group, BGF, LDC, Henley Business Angels and Barclays. Each speaker gets 10 mins with 5 mins for audience Q&A. There is also time at the end for networking over tea and coffee.
Who are Henley Business Angels?
Henley Business Angels (HBA) is a network of experienced business leaders, successful entrepreneurs and investors. The network’s aim is to facilitate opportunities for members to invest in and mentor (S)EIS registered early-stage businesses launched by entrepreneurs who graduated from or are connected with Henley Business School and the University of Reading. Henley Business Angels is also keen to support and educate entrepreneurs to contribute to the quality of the founder ecosystem, through initiatives such as our quarterly Investment Readiness Workshop.
