I’m delighted to bring you the Henley Summer Start-up Boot Camp, which is a week-long course open to students and alumni hosted by the Henley Enterprise Lab and delivered by The Rebel Business School.
The Boot Camp which is now in its 12th year is all about supporting aspiring entrepreneurs learn about setting up a business from the ground up over the course of a week. Each day of the Boot Camp focuses on a different key skill from building a website to selling, which gives participants the confidence and tools to start a business.
The course dispels the traditional approach to starting a business. It busts the view that you need a lot of money to start a business and teaches you that all you need is a business idea, deep and robust customer insights supporting the opportunity addressed by the idea, passion, and belief in what you are doing, commitment of your time, a little money, and a computer.
Participants are taught how to start a business with little money, build a website for free, use social media to build visibility, find and win customers and start to make sale, all within a week. The course features many practical exercises designed to enhance learning of what is important in successfully building a new enterprise including how to be persistent in selling and win and keep customers.
🎫The Boot Camp is completely FREE to attend and is now OPEN for current students and alumni of Henley Business School and the University of Reading to register.
📍The Boot Camp is being held in person during the week of 16-20 June 2025 commencing at 10:00am to 4:00pm each day at the Henley Business School building, Whiteknights Campus.
