Celebrating Innovation & Sustainability: Robert D. Pearce Prize

The Robert D. Pearce Prize celebrates and awards the work and research of students at all levels of their studies who are working to progress innovative ideas in the field of sustainable development. Set up to honour the legacy of Professor Robert Pearce, a world-renowned scholar who had a great interest in the socio-economic field and was a Professor of International Business and Professor Emeritus of the John H Dunning Centre for International Business, where he inspired and supported countless students and colleagues alike.  

The prize is available to any student enrolled in a programme of study (BSc/BA, PG or PhD), either at the Henley Business School or the University of Reading, with a total prize fund of £1,300 in each academic year being awarded across six different students at different stages of study.   

“Receiving the Robert D. Pearce PhD Prize has greatly motivated me to further pursue research in sustainable business. It reassures me that research in this field is being read, valued, and supported, with growing expectations.
