Rising Applications, Rising Need: Henley's Bursary Fund

While we are delighted to announce the award of two new bursaries for the upcoming academic year, with a total value of £45,000, disbursed to students throughout their three-year studies, the staggering 163 applications received this year alone highlights the growing need at Henley. Regrettably, our limited funding restricted our ability to extend this vital opportunity to more students, leaving many without the support they urgently require and deserve.

Eleanor Kiff, Programme Delivery Officer, who is responsible for reviewing each application, emphasises this concerning reality.
"It is a privilege to be part of a process that supports students in pursuing higher education. However, over the past few years, the bursary review process has become increasingly challenging, due to the limited funding available and the growing volume of deserving applications. It is difficult to know that there are students we have been unable to support.”

Without invaluable funding contributions we cannot ensure that exceptionally talented individuals, who might otherwise lack the financial means, can access much-needed bursaries, and pursue a world-class education at Henley.
