Professor Eamonn D'Arcy wins prestigious industry award

At the 40th Annual Conference of the American Real Estate Society (ARES) held in Orlando, Florida (March 19th-23rd) Professor Eamonn D’Arcy (Real Estate and Planning) was named as a recipient of the society’s Education Award. This prestigious award is granted to a scholar who has made a significant contribution to the advancement of real estate education through innovative teaching methodology, an influential textbook, and/or advancing real estate education around the world.
 
In Eamonn’s case the award was made in ‘ recognition of his many significant contributions to the advancement of real estate education’.  In the forty-year history of the society this is only the sixth time one of the society’s major awards recognising achievements in real estate research and education has gone to a recipient outside of North America. It’s the first time a recipient based outside of North America has won it.
