Building Futures Together: RREF Recognition Evening 2026
The RREF Recognition Evening was a special occasion dedicated to celebrating the hard work, achievements, and contributions of those who continue to make a positive impact.
More than 100 supporters and students gathered in London for this year’s RREF Recognition Evening, celebrating the profound impact of RREF and the community that makes our work possible. Hosted generously by Stephenson Harwood, the evening brought together donors, mentors, placement providers, volunteers, Trustees, and Committee members, alongside students from Henley Business School, all keen to connect and share their experiences.
A short video of the evening is available here.
The event provided an invaluable opportunity for supporters to see first-hand the difference their involvement makes. Students were enthusiastic and engaged, making the most of conversations with industry professionals and demonstrating the potential that RREF helps to unlock.
Two student beneficiaries, Margaret Bouh and Kimy Mahan, spoke movingly about their journeys. Both highlighted how RREF’s financial support relieves pressure and enables them to fully engage in their studies and career development, while the network and opportunities build confidence and open doors to an industry they might not otherwise have accessed. As Margaret reflected, the support “genuinely changes lives,” while Kimy emphasised how it has helped her realise she belongs in real estate and can aim higher.

Our PhD researchers were also on hand to talk to our supporters about the industry-related research they are working on, thanks to RREF funding. Their research posters can be viewed here.
The evening was a powerful reminder that, through their time and donations, our supporters are not only shaping individual futures but also helping to build a more diverse and inclusive real estate profession. We look forward to welcoming even more supporters next year.
